IRSC offers several study and travel abroad trips each summer providing students with opportunities to earn college credits as they participate in enriching life-changing experiences.

EUROPE
May 7 - 19, 2018


Visit Zurich & Lucerne, Switzerland; Venice, Florence & Pisa, Italy and French Riviera & Paris, France.  Explore how economics, math and sociology apply to global perspectives.  Experience the beauty, history, culture and customs of Europe while earning college credits. Coordinated by Dr. Maria S. Davis, Dr. Rita C. Lindsay, Dr. Meghan Probstfield.  The cost of this experience is $3,850.

SPAIN
May 12 - 25, 2018


Visit Salamanca, Seville, Granada & Madrid, Spain. Explore the beauty, language, culture & history of Spain with home stays in Salamanca and a week of language school. Experience daily life in Spain while earning college credits in Spanish and/or Humanities. Coordinated by Professor Lori Fry, Dr. Cristobal Sartori. The cost of this experience is $2,895.

CARIBBEAN
May 13 - 20, 2018


Aboard Royal Caribbean's Oasis of the Seas.  Visit Nassau, Bahamas; Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas and Phillipsburg, St. Maarten.   Explore celestial navigation, including using a sextant, recognizing stars and constellations and observing the moon.  Experience the beauty of the Eastern Caribbean while earning college credits. May 24 - June 21, 2018


Visit Prague, Czech Republic; Taiwan; and Hong Kong. Explore international relations and diplomacy, visit European companies, attend lectures in international commerce and global business, understand the cultural characteristics of doing business abroad. Earn business credits in Entrepreneurship, International Business, Interpersonal Relations and Organizational Management. Coordinated by Dr. Herbert Ricardo. The cost of this experience is $4,700.

May 26 - June 2, 2018


Visit Rotan Island, Honduras.  Explore how field researchers study animal behavior and marine ecology and how people and environment affect each other.  Experience the unique opportunity of working with dolphins while earning college credit in Service Learning and/or English.
